Premium celebrates another year of success at MWC 2024

Premium has once again had the privilege of being part of one of the most prominent events worldwide: the Mobile World Congress 2024. This congress, which brings together the brightest leaders in global technology and RD, has surpassed all expectations by attracting more than 100,000 attendees from around the world. With an edition that will be remembered for its magnitude, MWC 2024 had nearly 3,000 exhibitors, and we, Premium, are proud to have been an integral part of this experience. The congress attracted participants from more than 205 countries, and as providers of 360º solutions for events, we have contributed to creating attractive and functional spaces and environments for our clients.

More than 50,000 products served

Premium’s impact at MWC 2024 is reflected in the more than 50,000 products rented for the event. This figure covers a wide variety of categories, including chairs, stools, tables, sofas, armchairs, accessories and more. From stands to auditorium rooms, at Premium we display our extensive stock in every corner of the fair’s pavilions. The variety of colors, models and designs of our furniture contributed to the creation of more than 1,500 personalized orders, satisfying the specific needs of each client. Among the most notable products is the #Asti chair, with more than 8,000 units rented, which adorned the auditorium and plenary rooms, among others. In addition, more than 2,000 catenaries were used to separate spaces in different pavilions. This year, Premium stood out for the large amount of designer furniture provided, such as the #Boston and #Praga series of sofas and armchairs. The velvet materials provided a touch of style and elegance, elevating the visual experience and creating exclusive environments. We are not limited only to the pavilions, but we also transform the grounds’ gardens into complete and comfortable rest areas for attendees, thanks to our series #Vietnam and to the high tables

Logistics success: a sustainable and efficient deployment

Our logistics team once again demonstrated its operational efficiency in this edition of the Mobile World Congress. We faced the challenge of transporting large quantities of furniture to Fira de Barcelona, and our trucks and trailers, with a maximum capacity of 25,000 kg, were essential to meet our clients’ expectations and guarantee the creation of spectacular design stands. More than 80 trips were made between deliveries and collections, more than double compared to the previous edition. This not only underlines the magnitude of our deployment, but also our dedication to optimizing each trip. The strategic decision to fill the trucks to their maximum capacity not only saved costs, but also had a positive impact on the environment by reducing the carbon footprint. Behind this logistical success is a dedicated and highly coordinated team. The cohesion and excellent teamwork of our logistics staff were essential. Their ability to efficiently manage, coordinate and plan every aspect of the operation was essential to meeting deadlines and ensuring that all of our clients had their furniture orders impeccably delivered.

How has the experience been at Premium?

For Premium, MWC 2024 has not only been an event, but a complete and successful experience that has exceeded all expectations. This event not only met the established standards, but also stood out for the intensity and dedication of the entire Premium team, which always stands out for its commitment to service excellence.

Logistics team perspective:

For our Event Managers, MWC 2024 was a carefully planned challenge that began preparation in October. Cost closure and logistics were carried out meticulously, ensuring efficient and sustainable execution. Assembly and disassembly, a key process, began two weeks before the celebration, and after that, approximately 10 days were dedicated to emptying all the pavilions. A curious fact to highlight was the double visit that the King of Spain made, when it is usually only one. In addition, at Premium we offer you a special lectern that adapts to your height. Despite the intensity, the team’s commitment managed to successfully meet all expectations and demonstrate that #WeCanWithEverything. At the volume level, participation was considerably higher than the previous edition, with Premium present in the 8 pavilions and areas of the Fair. In conclusion, the MWC was coordinated in a successful, cohesive and, at the same time, intense manner, underlining the team’s ability to manage large-scale events.

Sales team perspective:

For our commercial team, prior preparation begins six months before the event, that is when we begin to contact clients from past editions, establishing crucial connections. Iñaki Verdú, our salesperson in Barcelona, highlighted the good atmosphere between all the departments involved, generating an enriching work environment. Collaboration and understanding the roles of each team were key to the success of this event. At the volume level, salespeople also noticed an increase compared to the previous edition, with the incorporation of more designer furniture thanks to the latest Premium additions. The experience from the perspective of the commercial department turned out to be rewarding and satisfactory, validating the joint effort of the entire team. In conclusion, Premium’s participation in MWC 2024 was a triumph from all angles, highlighting our ability to coordinate complex operations and strengthen our commercial relationships. A rewarding experience just like in previous editions.
