Premium obtains Biosphere certification for tourism sustainability

In recognition of our commitment to sustainable tourism, on March 22nd, we were awarded the Biosphere certification at the Centro de Convenciones Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB).

The Biosphere seal positions us as an environmentally friendly company in our event services.

Our team has always been environmentally conscious, and now we can prove it. A clear example is our practice of optimizing truck space to the fullest extent, reducing trips and, consequently, emissions. Of course, our primary contribution to environmental care lies in our catalog. Our rental furniture is reused from one event to another, and our sustainable carpet tiles adhere to the principles of circular economy and carry the Global Green Tag's Level A product seal. Additionally, we proudly announce our status as an ALUVISION RENTAL PARTNER, an innovative system of sustainable aluminum frames: modular, reusable, durable, and flexible.

The Biosphere certification, part of the Barcelona Biosphere Tourism Sustainability Commitment, is managed by the Tourism Department of the Barcelona City Council in collaboration with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Barcelona Tourism Consortium, endorsed by the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI). The goal is to promote an environmentally and culturally respectful tourist community aligned with social and economic returns. To achieve this, the reference has been the 17 Sustainable Development Goals outlined in the United Nations' 2030 Agenda. Adding to this is a trend that has become a reality in our industry: the commitment to sustainable events that we at Premium share, once again proving that #ThePossibilitiesAreEndless.
